The filter is designed to provide optimal filtration results and service life, thanks to its 100% melt-blown polypropylene construction and radial multi-gradient tight-packed structured polypropylene fiber. It is food-grade, contains no binders, agents, solvents, wetting agents, or antistatic materials, and has a temperature rating of 40°F to 160°F (4.5°C to 71°C). The filter has a service life of 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and water quality.

To ensure safe use, it is recommended to flush the filter with at least 3 gallons of water prior to usage. The filter can be used for drinking water applications, as well as for hot tubs, spas, pools, and aquariums. However, it should not be used where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the water filter.
